Arm Lift

An arm lift is also known as brachioplasty. This surgical procedure involves reduction of excess skin from the upper arms. It tightens and smoothens the tissues that defines the shape of the arms. This surgery is recommended for you if you have sagging underarms skin that appears as excess fat.

How It Works

The length and pattern of incision in an arm lift surgery depends on the location and amount of excess skin which needs to be removed. These incisions are usually placed on the inside or back of the arm. Next, the excess fat is treated with liposuction. Then, the underlying supportive tissue is tightened with internal sutures. After tightening and reshaping the tissue, skin is smoothened according to the new contoured arms. The incisions are closed with stiches or absorbable sutures, that will be removed after few weeks of your arm lift.

Results

The smoother and tighter curves resulting from an arm lift surgery are apparent almost immediately after the procedure. The results are mostly long-lasting and provides you a general fitness and stable weight. However, it is natural to lose some firmness with ageing, but most of the improvements are reasonable permanent.

Breast Lift

A breast lift is also known as mastopexy. This procedure involves reshaping the breasts and removal of excess skin to tighten the surrounding tissues. If you desire a breast profile that is more youthful and uplifted, a breast lift procedure could be the answer for you.

Who is a good candidate for breast lift procedure?

Because a breast lift procedure is structured for the specific individual, you need to meet certain requirements. For a candidate to qualify for a breast lift, you need to:

  • Maintain a stable weight and be physically healthy
  • Be a non-smoker
  • Be bothered by the sagging, loss of shape and/or volume of your breasts

  • Have nipples to fall below the breast crease, when they are unsupported
  • Have breasts with nipples and areolas pointing downward
  • Have stretched skin and enlarged areolas
  • One of the breast lower than the other
Results

After the breasts are reshaped, the remaining skin needs to be tightened. Once the skin is tightened, the incisions are closed. Some of these incision lines get concealed naturally and some are visible on surface of the breast. Mostly, the incision lines fade over the time.

Face Lift

A face-lift is also known as rhytidectomy. This is a cosmetic surgical procedure, performed to reduce the sagging or folds of skin on the jawline, cheeks and other areas that shape the face. This procedure is conducted to get better and younger appearance. In this surgery, flap of the skin on face needs to be pulled back and the tissues altered to get a youthful face contour. The excessive skin is also removed surgically to reduce the sagging and fat deposits in significant manner.

How It Works

This procedure involves elevation of skin and tightening of muscles and tissues. The face and neck fat can be sculpted, redistributed or removed in this procedure. Then after, the facial skin is re-draped on the newly positioned face contours. The wounds are taped or stitched after the completion of procedure. The facelift choices depend on the degree of change you want to see in your face. A traditional facelift incision usually begins from the hairline and continues around the ear ends in the lower scalp. The second incision is done under the chin for improving the aging neck. There will be some signs of incisions for couple of months but it fades over the time.

Results

The face-lift procedure gives a youthful appearance to your face and neck. The facial skin usually begins to droop and this procedure provides an improvised appearance. A face lift is expected to last for 10 years.
